About DS-Chan

Originally designed by myself. Inspired by Yoshizaki san's "OS-IDOL Win-chan" and my Nintendo DS Crystal white. DS-Chan is a loveliness symbol of my NDS.

Q: How to use your theme on NDS?
A: Here's how.

Make sure your cartridge is R4DS, M3DS, DSTT or DSTTi.

Make your kernal version up to date.
Check at R4DS,M3DS or DSTT

Unzip the file you have downloaded.

For R4DS or M3DS. You will have 5 files in the folder.
logo.bmp, icons.bmp, bckgrd_1.bmp, bckgrd_2.bmp, theme.ini.
Rename the folder, you can name it "theme01"-"theme12".
Put the folder under \_system_\themes\ in your micro SD card.
If you want to change the theme. Push "Select" button.

For DSTT or DSTTi. You will have 36 Files in the folder,
copy all of them and put it in \TTMenu\skin\default in your micro SD card.
You can have only one theme at a time in DSTT.

DS-Chan Scissors

When you have a hard time to make decision.
Let's play "Rock Paper Scissors" with DS-Chan.

1. Download all 3 themes, "DS-Chan Rock","DS-Chan Paper","DS-Chan Scissors"
2. Put all of them in theme folder on your card in any order you like. Back up the other theme and move it to the other folder.
3. Rule to play "RPS" with DS-Chan.
- Don't look at below screen
- Push Select+A to shuffle your theme a few time
- Speak out loud what is your choice while push A at game icon.
That's all.

DS-Chan Paper

1. Download all 3 themes, "DS-Chan Rock","DS-Chan Paper","DS-Chan Scissors"
2. Put all of them in theme folder on your card in any order you like. Back up the other theme and move it to the other folder.
3. Rule to play "RPS" with DS-Chan.
- Don't look at below screen
- Push Select+A to shuffle your theme a few time
- Speak out loud what is your choice while push A at game icon.

Dark DS-Chan2

Nothing new here. Just a modification of the old one for my friend in japan. His NDS is also Enamel Navy. So I remove her armor, and change her hair style. If you have this color and don't use polycarbonate silicone, you can use it.

DS-Chan Rock

1. Download all 3 themes, "DS-Chan Rock","DS-Chan Paper","DS-Chan Scissors"
2. Put all of them in theme folder on your card in any order you like. Back up the other theme and move it to the other folder.

DS-Chan LittleSis

At first I think I'll name her DS-Chan Chibi, but she's not so chibi at all (more like loli to me but that name is ... hmm way too nasty.)

OK.. I designed this theme for another of my best friend's DS-Chan which color is Ice Blue, and he alway has his DS-Chan well protect in Airform Pouch (hmm am i too cruel on mine?, no protection at all.. but I think she looks best when she barely...naked.)

Dark DS-Chan

Special designed for my best friend's NDS which is enamel navy with polycarbonate silicon (orange), but I think she looks great on black NDS too (or even white, which is mine). Isn't she?

DS-Chan SitUp

Let's DS-Chan be our trainer and exercise a little bit before play a game.

(The idea is to play with hinge of NDS to make DS-chan sit up like in reality. Don't "Sit Up" her too fast or you may damage your NDS.)
